Well, hello out there! Happy Friday to you all.
I don’t know about other places in the world but here in Halifax the autumn chill is definitely starting to settle into the air. It’s officially become cardigan weather if you’re out for an evening walk. Luckily, I happen to love layers! This is the cardigan that I’ve mentioned a couple of times. It’s a great marine blue with beautiful anchor and rope details on the buttons.
We went out on an adventure to the York Redoubt, an old outpost used to protect the Halifax harbour in various wars. The section featured above was actually used during WWII but has obviously since been abandoned. Now, it’s home to some amazing graffiti art. Nearly every single wall of the place is covered in stencils and free hand work. I’ve featured some of my favourites above but there’s so much more!
