Beachy-keen.

Well hello out there, it’s been awhile – I feel as though I need to dust the cobwebs off this blog before I can post regularly again! Please excuse my extreme lack of updates for the past month. I’ve a new schedule I’ve been adjusting to with a new job, as well as Christian being away and back again. However, it’s been long enough and I feel like there’s no more excuses to be had so back to work writing posts for all you lovely readers out there!

I thought I’d make it a slow move back into the blog-o-sphere with this little update about some of the new jewellery I’ve been working on. It’s a wire wrapped bracelet that I made freeform while chilling at home alone the other night. I didn’t really have an idea in mind for the design other than the colours I wanted to use – soft blues and greens in the aquamarine stones and sandy peachs and nudes from the moroccan agate, peach moonstone and swarovski crystals. I’m actually really happy with how it turned out, it has a nice beachy feel – which I was going for – and incidentally, the wire form part of it almost resembles a fish making it more beachy I suppose.

Anyways, I promise I’ll get back to a more regular posting schedule now. I have some photos ready to post soon, just waiting on my trusty photographer/boyfriend to have the time to edit them before I can throw them up on the blog. Check back soon ¬†for updates. I promise the lazy, dog days of summer won’t be keeping me back any longer!

Cheers,

Ali

Bits and Baubles.

Strung bracelet of bamboo stone and yellow jade. Finished with smokey Swarovski crystals.

I made an order on Etsy recently of some beautiful new gemstones including some luxe citrine briolettes, Moroccan agate, peach moonstone and aquamarine among other things. Anyways, with all the new gems I’ve been pumping out a few new designs and thought I would share them with you first! Check out the full post to see more pictures of the beautiful bracelet and a couple of pairs of wire wrapped earrings.

I’m extremely happy with the outcome of my newest designs. I’m having a hard time not just keeping them for myself, we’ll see how THAT turns out!

I’m feeling more inspiration coming on so expect to see more designs and my Etsy page up here soon! Let me know what you think of the new jewelry.
